Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

gjsmom--no clorox pen..got that for my son and it leaves a bleach stain..and I think your sailors will be in blue now wont they??? tide pens work WAY better!
hang in there moms and wives!! my call came exactly at 3p (central time) so should be soon :) and yes I know its easier said than done because was in your shoes not long ago. So excited for you all!!
remember--did everyone pass in your division and what divisions went and post soon for everyone online thats biting their nails with you :)

PRAYING YOU ALL GET YOUR CALL'S SOON SO YOU CAN BREATH!!!!! I sat at my desk yesterday crying once the call came. I have never been so proud as I am now. Well FRIDAY WILL TOP IT. Leaving at 7 am Thursday. takes about 6.5 hours. Here we come GL!!!! RAMADA you are going to be getting the best darn group of families ever, I have to say. See you all soon! Oh, I wonder what is the largest size memory stick for the camera. I want 3! LOL XOXOXOXO to you all!
