OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 297 and 298

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Counting down the days till we get to give our daughter big hugs.  We are sooo proud and can't wait for that I'm a Sailor phone call any day we hope.  We fly in kind of late Thursday but are hoping to try to get to Sarge's Meet and Greet on time to meet some of the other wonderful parents we will be sharing a life changing experience with.  We wish everyone a happy and exciting weekend and week ahead. This will be so exciting and emotional.  God Bless all of our new Sailors.

Has anyone from Ship 11 Div 298 received the "I'm a Sailor" call?  Getting worried as we haven't heard from our daughter in a couple weeks.  Congrats to all and can't wait to leave tomorrow to see our girl.

Ladies in Div 297/298!  Please check the main PIR page for a message from "ByGrace".  She is hoping one of you will look up her son (from NC) in Div 297 since he thinks she will be there tomorrow, and she can't be.  So please read her message and see if you can help!
