Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

One more question.. What times does graduation end and they are ready to leave for the day (for those flying out for A school). Trying to make meal plans for after the graduation. Sorry if this has already been answered .
I might have enough time to stop at a store before Sarge's meet and greet if I don't have any luck ambermc =) thanks
DylsMom, sorry if you already said this, but are you arriving early enough to shop a little there in IL? That's what I had to do for a February Chicago trip this year. Couldn't find any gloves or scarves in Texas, but we found some in Chicago. You might even find one at that Walmart in Waukegan.
Thanks diannep, looked at Burlington in Ocala but no luck there. More money than I wanted to spend. I will try looking online and see if I can get one in time. I don't want to be shivering throughout the ceremony!
Dylsmom: I also am in FL and found a coat online when my son was there. Yes, hard to find in stores in our state now (although maybe Burlington Coat Factory has them?). I found mine at Sears online and it worked great! I was up there in Feb 2010. COLD!
Oh I see DylsMom just said the same thing I posted on the other discussion. :) Good luck, Dcmmom!
Try enterprise at the airport Dcmmom. They don't usually require one but I believe there is a deposit
