sjerseytina, totally unacceptable and they should lose things if that's the way they are acting - but I agree with you they better get their crap together and graduate on time. My son said 6 already left to dor or medical. he didn't say he had gotten a cold yet, but his recruiter said they all get sick at some point during bc. the recruiter also said that because of all the shots they have to get that he didn't get as much as a runny nose for the next 2 years! always have to look for a positive :)

my son said someone spit on anothers sr pillow and untill someone fesses up they will be losing alot of things

My SR didn't mention losing the urinals in his letters this week! But he did say that it's past time for thier division to get their (stuff) together. He is very frustrated with their lack of progress in the "teamwork" dept. But, I will say, on a happier note that the division did earn a flag for getting good scores on their test last week, although that information was followed with him telling me they had an inspection of their compartment right after and failed miserably - maybe that was part of the urinal thing?

Navywife sorry to hear about your MIL. I hate mine at times too. Whenever I felt bad about hating her I thought about how she hated her MIL too and the cycle continues. I've actually been getting along with her pretty good lately though since she was a navy mom 20 years ago and went through the same thing. Just remember she is probably lashing out at you because she's upset her son is gone. The week my son left for bc my 17 year old son was almost unbearable to live with and I know it was because he was really sad about his brother leaving. It only got better when my husband explained to him that as the mom I was feeling everything he was but ten fold and then he finally got it and eased up.

I hope things get better with her for you. If not just fake it when you have to be around her and ignore her the rest of the time. =) When your time comes try to break the cycle and be a better MIL than her.

wanderlust I just left you a message. I didnt know you were here. my son thought it was kind of funny too. something about singing really loud in the shower.

cameowlot, so funny! I love it when people who have never been involved with the military say how they think things should be. I was an Army wife for 3 years, so I know how it goes. You can wish, hope and pray, but it will always be the military way, :)

By the way Ladies, I want you to know that while it did take me almost 5 weeks, I FINALLY figured out how to put a picture up! My son is the computer geek in the family and for some reason, he's not been around, lol. He would be so proud, :)

My husband was telling me about the urinal thing. They couldn't keep them clean, so they told them they could only use the stalls. There are no doors, just curtains. So then they couldn't keep the curtains clean either... so no curtains anymore! Just open stalls. He said they all talk to each other while they do their business with open stalls. He said it's hilarious and they don't really notice it anymore. But yea, not a clean bunch!

Oh my gosh, that is harsh punishment! I would hope that by now the div's would be working together. Ok mom's, we need some prayers!
