My mail day had been Thurs, but surprise, surprise I had a letter AND a filled in questionaire when I got home today! Short letter, he said they were given 30 minutes to write. I put a letter in the mail every single day, but the questionaire he sent back was from a couple of weeks ago.... I sure hope he has gotten his letters.

My mail seems to get to my hubby a week late also. Im not sending anymore after the 24th, just cause they wont have time to read it and cant write back. Im thinking I will get maybe 2 more letters. My mail day is Thursday.

I keep writing to her each day and I'm not sure when she won't be getting them anymore... I know my mail day is on Friday, but when she writes me, she is getting my mail over a week late... so I am guessing only two more mails from her and I don't how many she will get from me.

and reenie-- they stand outside waiting before it actually starts.. we saw Zacs group march by us into place outside at little after 7 that morn.. depending on group number (his was first) it takes a while to get everyone lined up to march in..PLUS there are those chosen that will be like guards who will stand near your division sign and at posts upstairs from time doors open until beginning of ceremony.. so yes they do stand for hours and for some it can be a little overwhelming for bodies that are just coming off BS21 or sickness..bodysnatchers only had to get 3 out of my son's division that day and 2 of his brother division.

hello sailorjay--- Im not sure about the other hotels but know the Navy Lodge and the Ramada are within 5 min drive to base and about 10min from each other.

I was just looking at PIR 9-17. they have driving directions from the hotels to base. I bookmarked, cause that's all I know how to do. Does anybody have a map that shows where the hotels are in relation to each other? inquiring minds what to know.
