I missed the response to an earlier question: Anyone know where the bodysnatchers are doing the PIR. Do they march in the ranks of the 900 division?

Yeah the first PFA is nothing more than a base test to see where they need improvement. My hubs failed a few too. But its the 2nd and 3rd ones that they have to pass, or they get held back until they do pass. Ugh.

Reenie,

I believe that they are required to call home if they fail any of the PFA or Academic tests. I am hoping not to get a call, for that reason alone, lol. As much as I wanna hear his voice and talk, I don't think I could bare his disappointment in himself. It would send me over the edge at this point!

Yeah, unfortunately grammar and spelling is not what the military cares about, lol. My hubs is terrible at spelling. I'm glad they have them writing neater. His was chicken scratch before, now its just scratch but legible.

I speak netspeak aka txtese!!! Pretty well actually. I felt funny when I was at Target the other day and 2 girls in their late teens early twenties maybe, were speaking all in txtese, I understood it all, lol!

I thought that the blog from that Sailor was cool. He didn't give away anything but he did enlighten me to some additional things that I was not aware of prior. Thank the Gods for the interwebz!!! Lulzies:)

Bellaboo2u Thanks for finding the blog by a new sailor. :) It does give a window into the intensity of training they are undergoing. Battlestations 21 coming soon!

I found this blog by a SR that made Sailor. But they go through all of what really goes on week to week. Interesting:)

In a letter. another SR in our div. wrote home and said that the division had 52 or 54 hits. How bad is it? Haven't gottin a call for 2 weeks. I figure no news is good news (phone wise).

sailorjayship: Was this in a letter or phone call? Let's pray for a much better day for all tomorrow....the ups and downs of boot camp....chin up! They are going to really push them at the end here to get it done, but once they turn the corner...the goal is in site! PRAY HARD!

heard from my SR today. his division didn't do to well. his spirits are low. has anybody heard from the other division's. I'm hoping the division doesn't get set back. He says he feels like "Tim Talyor" from home improvement show.
