Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

So happy to read that I am not the only one in the "lack of patience club". lol
Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on September 12, 2010 at 12:25am
Patience is a very hard thing for me as well. I am an instant gratification kind of person. I like tasks and projects that I can get done quickly. I hate waiting for anything, even the traffic light at the end of my street drives me nuts. That thing takes forever to turn green. :)

LTLY - Not trying to sound too dumb, but do they all eventually get to make the "I'm a Sailor" call after their watch and/or responsibilities are done? Thanks for all your help, you are super.
Comment by LTLY on September 12, 2010 at 12:01am
About the BS21 schedule above...
Ask your SR's when their div goes to BS21. Once they tell you, let me know and I will post it above. 800 & 900 divs typically get thrown in sometime (usually Monday though), so that is why there is a question by 946.
Also prepare now, that not all Sailor's get to make the "I'm a Sailor call"...someone has to stand watch and some have responsibilities.

Cannot find the BS21 schedule. Help, please

Yes, Sondra - i second the motion on patience. Trying so hard ---- My aunt was named Patience because when my grandmother was giving birth to her and told not to push they kept telling her patience Annie, patience. Guess that lack of patience runs in the family blood line. lol

LTLY and diannep thank you so much for all your info and help with BS21.
Everybody on here is so super. I don't post too often, but I would just like to thank everybody on here - you all have made this rollercoaster ride of BC a little easier by your posts.
