Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 339 & 340. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Good Afternoon All! We are down to the final 10 days... 20 hours... Till PIR! Who's ready? I'm beyond ready! LOL Have my check list ready... And will be baking cookies to take with me! I so can't wait to see my son! As I am sure you are are feeling the same way. Who's staying at the Navy Lodge? What time will you be arriving? And who's going to the Meet & Greet? I'm planning everything... But now it's just waiting patiently! Which is something I have been learning for quite sometime now. lol See you all soon! And to meet you NEW Saliors too! :) (Send me a personal message for pirvacy.)
I'm so happy we are now down to only 10 days!!! Yay! I will send you a PM about our travel arrangements. Have a great day! :)
I'm the happiest momma in the world right now! I am so proud of my son! I got the best call ever! And I have only 6 days and 12 hours to wait to see him. I totally can wait! I'm support excited! :)
FIRST, to the Mom's who's SRs are still facing the challenge: I feel your disapointment and my heart truly goes out to you. This could of happened to any one of us. Be Strong, "this too shall pass." Hope will whisper, 'Try it one more time.' They're going to be just fine. And you will too!! Believe It. ♥
My son called at 5PM EST -- It's official: He's now a sailor. I'm proud of everything that my son has accomplished. Safe to say that this is an experience of true character building; no doubt he's no longer the man he was when he left. This has been quite the experience for me as well. The pain, anticipation, joy. Sort of like giving birth to him all over again. :-)
So, to all the Mom's who got the good news: I'm happy for you!!! :-) Congratulations. We made it through, too!! And to all those attending PIR next week....I hope you have a wonderful time. ENJOY.
In closing:This site has been a God sent!!! Thank you all for sharing your comments; posts and information.
All the best.......
Sincerely, Boston Mom
