Hi! I'm new to this website and I was wondering if anyone else had someone in Ship 12 Div 353? I got a call from my boyfriend Saturday which was a great surprise! He also said he was able to write a letter, but I have not received it yet.

I am so proud of them! That is awesome! I'm sure that is a big morale boost for everyone knowing they are doing well.Thank you for doing the detective work and finding out what they mean Polly! I am so excited for PIR, I can't believe our countdown is nearly in the teens! :)
Rain here too, and cold weather is finally here! I love it! I wish I had a bird singing rather than the cat giving birth outside my window (at least I think that's what it was). Great day today because of my classes got canceled so now I can catch up on sleep and MORE homework! :).

Our DIV seems to be doing very well, and thanks to great leadership whether it be a seasoned RDC or one that just knows his/her stuff. Even though I would love to here from my SR again (by phone) I know they are just trying to keep the DIV focused. Its so nice to look forward to Wednesdays as "letter" day. Its funny hearing a response or an answer to a question that I may have written about 2 weeks ago. I can't believe we are at 24 days!! How did that happen? My SR's family is coming to see me this weekend so that will definitely make time go by even faster!
HI, I just got a letter today! This will be my 3rd letter. It came a day earlier this time, usually I get one on Thursdays. It seems like the letters are getting shorter. He told me last week that he could'nt write much cuz he had to polish his shoes. He writes "It's finally October"! He says that his Div has a chance for some flags this week. Thank you for all of the prayers!!!
Yay!! Congrats!! I passed the mailman on my way to work today so I can't wait to get off and check my mail! My boyfriend said the same thing in the last letter about the shoe polishing haha. Hopefully they will earn those flags this week! :) 22 more days!!
I hope you get your letter today also! It is so much fun to go to the mailbox now! It is funny about the shoe polishing. Did you hear about the icecream?
Oh yes the ice cream haha. That cracked me up even though it probably wasn't funny to them at the time. It is good that they are trying to stay away from junk food! I wrote my SR that we would have as much ice cream as he wants after graduation. I know how much he loves it but he said he was not going to break the pact!
Somebody ate ice cream at chow and the DIV had made a pact to not eat any junk food, so they were all punished because of that one (or couple) people. Except the people that ate it just had to watch the rest of the DIV be punished. I think it was more of an embarrassment thing for them. I bet they won't be eating any more junk food after that!
It must have happened about 2 weeks ago because it was written in my letter that I received last Wed. I know they are pulled together now! I have complete confidence in them, and am of course VERY proud :)
Pollyanna, my son told me about the icecream thing a couple weeks ago too. I just brought up the icecream because we thought the shoe polishing was kind of funny. It is neat to hear about some of the things that go on there. I am so glad that the Div is doing so well and might get more flags!
That is so funny about the men writing shorter letters. It is completely opposite with my SR. He is a history major and I'm an engineer, so he writes so eloquently in his letters and I have a hard time putting anything into words. I love that we are able to communicate that way though, it is very romantic :)
Congrats!! I got mine today too! Today was a good day!
I am so glad that you got a letter from your son! What kind of survey did you send? Do you know why the emblem on front of the envelope is always blacked out?
