Hello All: Hope everyone is doing well.

My Son is still in Jacksonville, I have visited the base and it is pretty cool as the base go, I did it at night so there was not much to see other than his rack, some building etc. I have moved from MD to FLorida (Aug/Sept)so I am now 3 hours away from my airman. He is coming home for Thanksgiving and bringing a buddy and possible another mate who's is far away from home..love this group and is so glad that I can repay the hospitality to others who has been really kind to my son. Love and miss you all so much and was so glad that this group was here for me last year thru out the wait....

Our Navy lad is home for a few days, on leave, having completed another round of academics. When he goes back to SanDiego, he's not sure whether he will remain in port, awaiting the return of the ship he's assigned to, or whether the Navy will transport him to the ship while it is still deployed. Either way, he is loving the experience. It is all a great adventure to him, and it is good to have him home... (((hugs)))

Sounds like things are moving right along.  Prayers remain for all those in need.  My Sailor is headed to FRAC on the 29th of this month with a stop to SERE for a couple of weeks befor school starts.  Leave plans have changed but will be happy when we can see him, will just be a bit longer. Take care All
