FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yes, but they told me to join the Corey Station Group and there are only 14 members and the last time someone wrote on it was January 1st., I am crying I don't belong to any group anymore. LOL

That is wonderful about your son, my son brought home a friend last weekend and he is also going to be on a sub, sorry I cannot remember his name. 6 months, Stephen has 3 months. I just found out that he goes to school away from the other sailors because of the information he leans. Oh boy, I hope he can keep a secret. LOL

I am going to cry, I went to the web site for Pensacola, FL., and since Stephen is going in for IT they suggested to go to the Corey Station Group, there are ONLY 14 members and they last time someone wrote on the site was Janury 1st. HELP!!! I am so use to all of you and having someone there all the time.

Yes, that is what Stephen said, everyone goes in different directions, they flew out of Midway, it is a smaller airport which is kind of nice, not so crowded. WOW! your son is going to CT, what will he be doing there?

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that Stephen left for Pensacola Florida this morning. He has a lay over in GA, and should arrive around 1400. Please keep him and the other boys traveling in your thought and prays.

Woo Hoo, Steven called his parents around 5:30 am CA time said he was in Atlanta abou ready to take off again for FL. He must be VERY excited to be getting away from GL!!! hehe
