Wow I was sick all day and in bed for most of it. just checking here to see how everything is going, congrats to all those who did battlestations and are now Sailors that is exciting. my son doesn't do this till next Wednesday, which is when we are flying there. I have only spoke to my son once since he has been gone. I really miss him and am really stressing, I am sure that is what is making me sick.

Lynne, I am sorry you son got sick, but am glad he still gets to do battlestations.

Navymom x 2 - What is up with all this illness back there? Seriously, my son doesn't get sick much either and it has been non stop since he got there. Who ever thought of putting the facility there where they have to be indoors so much, and where illness spreads so easily? My husband said in Marine Corp boot camp they sure didn't have this type of illness going on. They were in California and mostly outdoors. Does make a difference. I can't even imagine that the RDC's and all stay healthy with this going on all the time.

Lynn, my thoughts are with you. Your son is now in my son's division so hopefully they meet soon. He's on time for PIR and that is amazing. Battlestations next Wednesday for 363!

And Denise I think I am like the luckiest person out there....because my recruiter or my son's recruiter has called here like every 10 days or so just to check in and see how things are and if I have heard from my recruit and just to check in. He is awesome. He has even helped out other people on this site whose recruiters were not as helpful...lol!!
