I checked with a group of which I'm a member for the Nuke A-school in SC.  Here is a link (or at least I hope will be a link) where you can see the answers.  It sounds like Nuke SRs will most likely fly out on Saturday.

Nuke School Charleston Group

Also, it would be nice to know who in this group has a Nuke SR, since they will be attending A-school together.

My son is a Nuke SR.  Has anyone gotten any updates on departure to S. Carolina whether it be Friday right after graduation or Saturday?

I heard Saturday morning 5am....

Well my SR mentioned to us in a letter that they may have to leave right after graduation!

Div. 011, and he sounded fairly sure, but who knows.  My suspicion is that they might ship out in ascending order, based upon Div. #.  So, 011 would be one of the first of the eleven divisions..  Perhaps that is why.

Anyway, I hope he is wrong, but I felt like I should mention the possibility.  Another mom posted the same information.  Expect the worst and hope for the best!! the main thing is that they get through boot camp and on to their next assignment.  Keep a good thought!

Thanks for the update! It kinda makes sense that they would ship out that way but I hope they start that on Sat. Fingers crossed!

I've started a private group on FB for those of us with this PIR date and whose sailor is going onto Goose Creek.  Let me know if you're interested in joining.  http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=hp#!/groups/142896299151082/

I tried to join but the link did not work.  Is it just me?

It worked ok for me, but it may since I'm already a member.  I can't remember who's who between the regular FB group and here because the names are different.  Are you on the PIR 12/02 FB page?  Let me know who you are on there and I'll invite you to the Nuke group.

Hi I'm Belle and have an SR in the Nuke group ...ship 07 Div 011....I would also like to join but I don't know how! Thanks!

We need to be friends on FB in order for you to be added to the Nuke FB page.  I can't add the link to my personal FB page because it contains my last name.  But if you will private message me here, I'll give you the link.  Or hook up with me on the PIR 12/02 FB group.

Our Nuke group is super private, so it takes a few extra steps to get everyone in.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm sure you understand.
