I did too. He said he would not call for 3 weeks. I was awesome to hear his voice and really know he is doing okay.
Ya. S called Monday and today as well. He said he'll be calling again next Saturday. :)
I know! Guess that means they're doing good right? S got major kudos from his RDC. Said he should go to the academy/become an officer; lol.
I got a call Thursday and today. Good idea to start a discussion on this! =)
I got a call today too! With the letter from the command yesterday and the call today, I feel so much better. It is the uncertainty that will drive you crazy.
My son call too, also he mention if everything is ok he call again next Saturday.
My daughter called also, said she was lovin it, she loved the PT also. She now knows where her Dad started putting salt and pepper on everything(he is retired army), in her words the food sucks LOL. But besides that she sounded really upbeat and she also said she didn't think she was going to take the leave, cause she didn't want to go in the hole. So we may be in Pensacola for Christmas lol. Of course I was at the hairdressers with dye in my hair, but you know I was taking that call LOL.
What is this going in the hole mean do they have to go on leave??
My son called on Saturday but I mised the call. My phone had shut off and I didn't realize it. I was so upset but I did get to hear his message he left on voicemail which was good. I took care of the phone problem with a new phone - less costly than replacing battery. He told me to keep the letters coming.
aww i got a phone call too last saturday! and my bf pir is on the 12-22 too! does this mean their division did good and that called was earned? he mentioned hes gonna call again in a couple week, but ya keep those letter comin cuz the live for it! at first i was scared to pick it up, cuz ive heard that no news is good news! but fortunately its a good one!! he mentioned about how long his leave would be after pir, but no info sunk into my mind cuz i was literally shakin while talking to him! any infos about whats gonna happen after pir that ur loved ones said?
I believe so. I didn't expect to receive a call until the third week.
How long have your recruits been there? Mine arrived on 11/1 and his PIR is 12-22, not sure if I should expect a call this week or next week.
