Misdtb says 92 (and therefore 91) were scheduled to go through last night Wed/Thurs).  Joshswife said 94 (and therefore 93) are to go through tonight (Thurs/Fri).  So....now I'm wondering.  If that happened, meaning 916 did NOT go last night from 3/4, then here is a "possible" BattleStations lineup:

Wed 2nd/Thurs 3rd    91, 92

Thurs 3rd/Fri 4th       93, 94, 95, 96

Sun 6th/Mon 7th       97, 98, 99, 100

Mon 7th/Tues 8th      917, 101, 102

Just maybe this could be it?????  Time will tell....candles burning, phones ready.

Well didn't get online much last night =( was trying to book my rental car, that is finally done, but while I was doing that someone tried to break into my house, I was in my bedroom and the person was trying to get into my WINDOW.  They cut the screen and was in the process of trying to pry the screen frame off the window, when I locked and loaded and called the Police Department, to come quick...they got there in under 10 min!  I thank God that I am ok.  The sunrise had a bit more beauty to it this morning, and the sky is just a little more clear.  No I didn't go outside but they did escape thru the other gate and left it wide open and tires were screeching on the pavement of the street to get away.

Yes, FL A Robin:  The capping ceremony is done separately by division.  And although several divisions(up to 4) go through Battlestations a night, and they go with brother divisions for the actual time in there... I'm not sure they are mixed with brother divisions while actually doing the drill...Both divisions (brother) may be  participating at the same time, but in separate areas at the time.  Just a guess on my part. But...they divide the division into smaller groups once they get in there.

All reports are that more than one division goes through BS at a time.

Hi Girls, Just a word of wisdom. "KEEP YOU CELL PHONES GLUED TO YOU HIP"! I ran to the grocery store a few days ago just to pick up milk and eggs, a 5 minute trip.....Well as I was getting out of my truck, my cell fell out of my purse and under the seat. I figured WTH it's only 3:00....huge mistake, wouldn't you know that my son called home. Thank God his sisters and Dad were home but I still feel sick about it. I had finally stopped crying on a daily basis, let me tell ya, missing that call set me back a notch. I wish he would have at least left a message so I could hear his voice :)

Redfly,

Battle Stations-21 is the 12-hour, overnight final test for the recruits during their last week of training. The test is a culmination of everything they have learned during their eight weeks of boot camp. Upon completion of the test, the capping ceremony is where the recruits take off their recruit ball caps and receive their Navy ball caps from their RDCs. The ceremony is an emotional one as many recruits are moved to tears as their RDCs congratulate them on a job well done.

So i believe it is done separate with each div.

I got a letter from my husband he says battlestations start tonight at 830pm and that I should be getting a call around 2pm tomorrow. He also got his orders, he has to be in Groton for BESS school/ A school between the 19th and the 21st so hopefully I can stay in Chicago and spend some time with him. So I get a phone call tomorrow... I can't wait and only 7 MORE DAYS!!!!!

Thanks FLA Robin.  Do they do they ceremony after each division finishes or do they wait until they are all done?

redfly , I think the soonest we would get a call would be somewhere after 2 because they finish around noon and then have the ceremony from recruits to SAILOR. Of course my phone is glued to me.. Can;t wait for that call.

3/3/11  The last letter and phone call we got from our SR said that DIV 98 would have Battle Stations on Sunday night and it would last for 12 hrs. We are undecided if we should drive onto the base, or take the shuttle from hotel and walk from the gate to the PIR hall...any suggestions?
