So ladies if Hapsmom has confirmed that Div. 095 is going tomorrow night it means that 091,092,093,&094 is in fact going tonight!   Because they go in sequence.  Thanks for straightening out our dilemma!

Hey Girls, I hope everyone is as excited as me :) I cannot wait to see my son! I am traveling with my father b/c my husband has to stay home with the girls. We're flying in Wednesday, renting a car and hopefully taking in some of the sites. Is anyone else staying at the Marriott? I think it' s about 4 mi from base.If anyone is interested, we would like to find a really nice restaurant and get to know some of the parents in div 101. We got our T-shirt and hoodie in the mail today.I'm wearing it proudly :) Got a letter from my son today, he said that they will not have time to write again. Sounds like they are having a crzy week. We'll be at the meet and greet on Thurs but if anyone is up for dinner on Wed that would be great. BTW, does anyone know of any great restaurants? I've never been to Chicago. Being a FL native, I dont even own a winter coat LOL I went to the mall, and saw nothing but swim suits and sun dresses. Guess I'll be wearing jeans, boats, and my new div 101 t-shirt and hoodie. Yeah, that gonna look just awesome w my white scarf.......Have a Great Night :}

Hap just called.  Security clearance information and I had to look up numbers so he had to call me back after I got together what he needed so we got to talk for about 10 minutes.  He said battlestations for 095 is tomorrow and he will call me Friday.  He has passed all his tests and is doing great!  Now I am too excited to sleep.

Is it selfish for me to say that my SR'S birthday is the 11th as well as PIR?

Ladies, say a special prayer tonight for all our sailors on ships headed toward Libya as well as our recruits headed to Battlestations this week.

Mayflower that is great news he is fine and fit! And Soliz53 yeah, you gotta dress and impress. What a lucky brother. Yep ~ it is fun to read all the clucking. Ha ha

I did not make it to the store... meant to, even went in that direction. Just figured I will wait until I HAVE to get more than do an exchange. The flat black uggs I ordered are not expensive and very much doubt that they are real. When I put my foot in them my sock came out full of black fuzzie?! Are the soles supposed to be so stiff? I feel like I could go skiing in em? Ha ha

They wont get much use down here anyway.

What diannep - maybe no 091-092 Battle Stations... ?

Comment by diannep on March 2, 2011 at 9:43pm
Jean, the confusion on tonight's Battlestations is because the 3/4 group says that their Div 916 goes tonight.  If that is true, none of 3/11 will start tonight.  We just don't know for sure.  I would keep phones handy tomorrow just in case.

Good Evening Ladies, just wanted to mention that being on the lake you may want to take into consideration that it may be windy.  Being from Buffalo the 30's will be a heatwave, but for those that are from warmer climates, that wind chill could make it feel much, much colder.  Although PIR is indoors, trying to stay warm during that walk, while holding a dress or a skirt down could be difficult.    Just some food for thought.  Just curious if anyone else is staying at the Candlewood Suites?
