MissingSailor- since your SR is in that div and they are a grad and go division he will most likely move to the other base (across the street) right after PIR. It will take 4 or 5 hours to move everything and get checked in. The good news is he will call you to pick him up and he will get the rest of the day Friday with you as well as Saturday and Sunday. He could possibly get to spend the nights with you in your hotel as well. They are the lucky ones for sure :-)
Amy-The whole Div 109 is Saturday departure after PIR? But my husband's A school is right across the street! lol.. I guess it depends on where the A school is right?
Ashley-I'm glad you made a decision. I wish you all the best! :)
Susu-I'm getting my SR a watch, a pair of glasses and I was thinking about an internet card for his laptop (I heard they don't get wifi in their barracks).
Amy, just shut it with your sunny California Lol. We got at least 8 inches here in Ohio where I'm at. The roads haven't been touched near my house yet...
I actually bought him a ring for a gift. Well he knows so it's not really a gift, but he doesn't know I'm gonna be cheesy and propose to him Lol. He'll be surprised!
And I'm hoping it's Saturday for us! He said 5 to 10 hours so any extra minute would be loved! He said he's been so depressed and quiet, all he can think about is not having a lot of time with us:(
Also I have chosen to stay and finish my 6 months of schooling. I know I said different last night but this really is whats best for our family! While he's gone I'll have something to keep me busy (work and Lucas) and we'll be able to save the money we want for our trips around the world!
Good morning! How's everyone doing today? One more day closer to seeing our SRs!
We're buying my son a video phone for his graduation present, so when he can get some time to call, we can see and talk to each other. My Mom wants to load a card with some money on it but the crucifix sounds like a good idea too.
Have a great day!
