Mom the first shuttle at the residence is 615! They wouldn't let me book it till check in though :(

Sherri, we found out that the first shuttle to the graduation is at 7:30 but the gates open at 6am. We wanted to take the shuttle too just so we didnt have to go thru the car inspection. But since the shuttle gets there so late, I wonder if we should take the car?

If anyone knows anything different, let me know. Thanks and have a wonderful day!!

navywife23, we are flying in on Thursday around 2pm in Milwaukee and staying until MOnday evening. We are also staying at the Residence Inn. I think we are just going to take the shuttle to keep things simple. And we are planning on attending the meet and greet at the Ramada.

I'm going with his mom, his 2 little brothers and our son. I thought of that but it would be rough trying to handle the baby on a plane, and I know she wouldnt like that idea..

Enterprise has great weekend car rentals.  If it works to take a cab to a close location instead of renting right at the airport the rate drops to 10/day for Friday - Monday and 25 for Thursday.

Ashley, who are going to PIR with? If other adults are going maybe you could consider flying back alone. Sometimes one-way tickets can be purchased for a great price. Then everyone else comes home and you have some extra time with your sailor. :-)

...but just a reminder, mrshdge.  I rented a car for $35/day....some get them for less.  The cab fare to GL is about $50 or more.  Each way.  So you may be better off renting a car?  It gives you more freedom with your sailor also.
