Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Monica: I know how excited you must be to have your son home for 10 days:))) I am hopeful mine will be able to take leave within the next 8 weeks:))))

Congratulations Claysgirl!!  That is soooo exciting!  but, you are right!  doesn't give you much time!! 

Hope all is well with everyone else!!  about 3 more months until we get to see our girls!!  Ugh... didn't quite realize it was that long until I just typed that :-(    She is hanging in there... has good days and bad, but school is really keeping her busy, so, I guess that is a good thing!! 

I hope everyone survived the storms... I am about over all the rain and storms,and guess what?  It is raining again, with storms for the next 3 days!  I just hope we don't get any of the flooding we had last year...  weird that it has been exactly a year since out last big flood in Nashville.

The date has been set- by Clay lol and we'll be getting hitched on 6/20!!!!! So excited and its soooooo close lol. I have lots to do but im so glad its sooner rather than later lol.. :))

So hope all Families and their Sailors are doing well. My son will be home on the 6th for a 10 day leave. So glad to have him home for awhile. Then off to his ship in Washington and then it goes to Afghanistan in July. Hope all have a wonderful Mother's Day coming up. God Bless all.
