Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My SR said they have written letters, but don't get to mail them till this week. Everything is ssssoooo ggggrreeeaaatttt! Thank You!!!!

Kaylee... He didn't mention if the had been allowed to write as of yet...I would bet it might be next Sunday before they can write ..... It went by do fast/I will have questions written down next time ....just know for now that they are doing fine which is a relief:))))

Just got a call from my SR!!! I was so grateful & you were right he is doing fine:)))) he was allowed a call because he needed some info for paperwork... He said they started PT on Friday...thinks they might get mail this evening ....they haven't received any as of yet...

HooYah!  Just now received a phone call from our son!  He needed to get his routing number for his checking account. Somehow, it did not get written down correctly when he called upon arrival. He sounded wonderful! He sounded tired! He said he has been sleeping really great. The flu shot really hurt and hyped him up!  Oh Thank You JESUS! He is doing Great!

Kym ship 11 div 18-if you go to navy speak on the right side of the screen and put in the word and enter it'll return with the meaning. Good luck and welcome!

Everyone in my PIR group has said the need N4M's anonymous.

Its only because we want to talk about our SR's with others who fully understand what we are going thru.....and we want to do it 24/7...lol

I just sent out a letter to my daughter asking her to do the same and tell her fellow recruits about N4M's so they can tell family. The more the better.
