Just checking in to see if anyone received any phone calls this weekend from their recruit with news on how their week went. I haven't left the house all weekend hoping he'd get to call home, I have my cell in one hand and the house phone in the other, my husband thinks I've lost my mind:). I can't wait for 4-9 to reestablish communication;) Although letter writing has afforded us sharing thoughts and feelings in a more concrete format to hold close to all of our hearts, having the ability to read his written words everyday, for that I am thankful.

Does anyone know if we buy the pictures @ PIR or do you order them later and then they mail to you or how that works? I can only guess they are very expensive, I was going to just have hers taken where I live but she is Grad N Go so will purchase them from graduation
Thanks

Hey Jessica, if you stop following with e-mail, will the comments still show up when you go to that group?

Any of you ladies related to the Medical Yeoman for Ship 03 Div 145? My recruit spoke highly of him in his last letter home. No name just the Medical Yeoman. Thought you might like to know that another recruit respects and likes your recruit.

Troy's Mom have you called public affairs to see if his ship/division is Grad N Go. I had read to call and I called and they told me he was not. I plan on checking again in a week or so.

Okay I have a question and hopeully someone who has been in my situation has the answer. My boyfriend goes to BUD/S in June/July and we are planning on getting married. Will I be able to live on base with him in Coronado since we will be married?

No letter from Troy today - but grandma got one (her first) so she was happy. He still sounds very upbeat and positive in his letter to her, but no info about G&G.
We'll just wait and see what he has to say next time he writes or calls. :)

Oh by the way, if you have a child/spouse/wife we are starting a group for ship 13 division 152. Those discussions and the replies just jump all over the place. Those that are in our brother/sister ship 13 division 151 please join us too if you don't have one. My son is not a writer, he does write on Sundays but just not enough info so I thought I could get info from others in his area. It just makes the world a little smaller. Like I said, I am going to start that spread sheet this weekend. At first I was lost because I didn't know how to get around, now I am lost because I can't keep up with it all. : )
