Jess's Mom...... congrats and thanks for the news update. Rob's letter yesterday was brief. He only mentioned gas chambers. Once again I can't thank everyone enough on here for all the details given. Without all of you, we'd all be so much in the dark on things. I hope we get the before BS call on Monday.. just wish we had a definite time frame, but knowing the approx time for Tuesday's call is exciting. Don't think I'll be getting much sleep Monday night knowing the call is coming the next day. I am so proud of all of our recruits..and sailors but even so very proud of all of us here. We did it ladies... this time next week we'll be sitting and watching and crying...at PIR. Can't believe that it was so many weeks ago that our tears were of the initial separation and loss we all were going through... now it's totally different. We shared so much and I feel like we're all family. Can't wait to see you all next week. Go Navy4Moms!!!!

Got the phone call around 2:30 today!!! It was only like 5 minutes, but soooo worth every second!! Said battle stations went really well, and that he's so ready for PIR! We were both sure there would be tears in this call, but I was just smiling the entire time, that they never happened! SO PROUD OF ALL OF THESE SAILORS!!! And I'll be praying for all the other divisions going through BS in the next week!

Only 1 more week! :)

I see all these posts about ribbons - is that for graduation or the meet-n-greet? My son is ship 14 div 193. He is married so is wife gets all the information. I am going to graduation but not getting the information is hard for me.

Great news Jess's Mom! Congrats on the phone call! I'm counting down until they call on Tuesday!!! I can't wait!

As for all of you ladies with recruits...excuse me .... SAILORS ... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I can't even imagine the overwhelming sense of pride you feel right now! Now its just a breeze until PIR!

For all the Divisions who still have to go through BS or who are currently in it, my prayers go out to you! We're almost there!

Just got a 5 minute call. She said they can have light make up and her hair straightener. I told her no problem and that I would overnight them tomorrow. She said that she passed all her PT. Said that one girl didn't pass the run and they gave her one more shot. Jess ran with her for motivation and she passed. She said that tomorrow is test 3 and dress white inspection. Saturday is captains cup. She is not sure if they will get to call Monday before battlestations, but 192 will definately call on Tuesday around 1:30 or 2 pm EST. She sounded great and was getting real excited about PIR and seeing us. It was great to hear her voice.

My son is ship 14 Div 193 - does anyone know when they go to BS? I think they will probably be the last ones to go - maybe next Tuesday. Any information wouldbe appreciated

Gloria, I was told that 192 was originally going to Battlestations on Sunday. I saw it posted here somewhere, but it's not until Monday. Thank goodness my daughter included that in her letter because I would have been a wreck if I didn't get a call on Monday. However, she did say that 192 will get to call on Monday before they go to battlestations, and then again on Tuesday after its done. I am hoping that she just didn't get her days mixed up, but this time I am not going to get wacked out if she doesn't call on Monday.

I heard that DIV 189 only got about 15 minutes to make their call (or atleast that's what my Sailor told me). And that they were having a big of a rough time. I will keep them (DIV 189 & your son, Sara) in my prayers.
