here4... I hate this...I think I have made myself sick! I cant get rid of tummy cramps...day 3 now! I am doing al I can to hold it together. I could hardly bring myself to come here tonight and read up. I don't want to break down and I don't want to get my hopes up! I don't understand there are only 2 left one has a swim issue....that's not out girls so I guess you are right one of us will get a call? But that call should have come @ the same time as G'moms!?!? So now no news is bad news as well! Holy cow! I'm going to call Wed morning if i have not heard anything. I have to know before Thursday morning! I just want to go to bed and cry! Think I will!
G'mom Thanks for asking! I know they are not to talk about other SR's by name...I should have told you my SR's last name! Happy for you really!
eights~ Wooohooo!
I pray I get to come celebrate with you all in GL!
here4 hugsssssssssssss lady! I pray we both get the I'm a sailor call! ♥
Ha ha. Pun intended!!
So what do you think of my pic? My oldest daughter calls them the "Fabulous Five!" Hope I don't get in trouble. Is that kind of picture okay?
I am packing right now!!!! Woohoo!!!
Dianne, you are such a Godsend!! I'm so glad that poor gal doesn't have to go through this alone.
I'll check back when my bag is all packed! :)
ok .. diane .. would i have heard if my sr did not pass his pfa today ?
girlsyk..."shave some time off..." HAHAHA, pun intended? ;) Don't worry, this group doesn't disappear once PIR occurs...many PIR groups are still active after graduation. FB is just another way for us to connect. :) It's a group for all of us that have SR's (or Sailors!) graduating 6/10.
jeffiner-I saw your profile pic and I was like "what...the heck...is that?!?!" then it put a smile on my face. :)
here4kids and par: Ugh...on not hearing anything today. There was another mom on an earlier PIR group who messaged me and wanted my cell number. She was so upset when she called because her son had not been allowed to call after trying the run again. She vented for a long time...then called me back in tears a few minutes later to tell me that he had just called, he made his run, and was headed into BattleStations. So....praying that call or no call, they are on their way either tonight or tomorrow night through BattleStations!
You both are going to need LOTS of chocolate after going through all of this! :-)
MrsMink: Take the shuttle....you will be saying goodbye to your sailor right after PIR anyway until the move to GL is made.
