For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

After reading everything, am kinda getting nervous about BS for 201!!! but in a prior correspondence the missed call LOL, my SR told me he wouldn't get another call untill the 8th, so I can only pray, that will be the Sailor call and somehow, someway they worked this group into BS, I know they went to Captains Cup, because his group won the most energetic Chant, And i haven't received any info, on hold ups.

So always hit "VIEW ALL" to be able to scroll through all of the groups. After I saw your original post, I posted on the BattleStations group so it would be "bumped' to the top again" so you would see it.

Yenni: Not sure if you can pay for the piks, as we had heard they had to be paid for by your SR if before PIR. Hoping that is wrong, but here is the number again and an email address for Photographic Services:

ssickling: Have you joined the Groton group on this site? Another way to get to know some of the ladies going there and already there.

girlsyk: Why not take the recipe and make the cookie dough THERE? Do you have a room with a kitchen/kitchenette? Well, if not, you will have to buy the ingredients, make the dough fast, and eat it all up! I'm a cookie dough eater too...even though I know we are warned NOT to do that....whatever...it sure is tasty!

here4kids: What your daughter said is so FUNNY! HA! As far as your comment about BattleStations...yes, strange things happen. I have always said that they go from lower to higher numbers, which they had done without exception for over the year I have been on here...until about 2 weeks ago when there was a change and two higher-numbered divisions went before two lower-numbered divisions...I'm guessing that the lower-numbered ones had some kind of glitch in their training and weren't ready yet, but don't know for sure. So...anything goes in bootcamp..."change" is the name of the game! Still not looking like there are BattleStations for this Thurs night for the next group....but then again...you never know. CHANGE, you know??? :-)
