For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Comment by annafornavy on June 29, 2010 at 6:31pm: WOW... Can you believe the graduation is behind us??? I still tear up thinking about it... Thank you all so much for the joy you felt seeing Dustin or hearing his name announced... When the doors opened up I said is that Dustin? Is that Dustin? Then I saw the 223 flag and the tears began to roll.. My dad a Marine fell apart the moment the doors opened and he saw his grandson standing there. He knew exactly what he had endured the past 8 weeks. It is a bond he will always have with his gramps ( as Dustin calls him ) : ) I was so proud and happy when every DIV rolled through as I had gotten to know their mama's, girlfriends, wives, fiances and grand children the past 8 weeks. It was amazing.. I was so upset I did not get to meet all the Navy for moms.. Chicago traffic was a tad bit ugly.. Which I knew it would be.. I kept trying to contain my self and not start cussing like a TRUCKER... LOL... Meeting all the ones I did was so WONDERFUL!! I love our group picture.. : ) Friday Dustin had watch so we had to take him back to base. There was 14 of us for lunch and he loved having all his family there.. We went back to the base at 5:30 to hang with him until 8:00. I was able to meet some of his ship mates and they all told me what a great leader and friend Dustin was. Of course that made my heart smile.. We had him from 8 - 8 on Saturday and Sunday Parker and I went to church with Dustin on Sunday. IT was so touching to see all the Recruits that went up front and kneel down and place their hands on each others backs as they prayed for one another. I wanted to go down in the sanctuary and hug all of them and let them know we are praying for them on Navy for Moms.. Bless their little hearts.. I could hear them coughing and sneezing... Some were so sick... And I thought back to our loved ones and thought they would have been going through the same thing.. UGH!!! I have a REALLY HARD TIME thinking about leaving this group... You have all been my life line and my phone a friend... : ) My heart is over-joyed for you all and your SAILORS and I never want to forget all the stories and tender moments we shared... I will always have a smile when I reflect back on you all and a thankful heart for your love, support, friendship and hugs... You mean the world to me... And from the deepest corners of my heart I LOVE YOU!!!!

I was just hoping someone that went to PIR on 6/25/2010 could post any videos that you have. Our sailor performed and we would love to see any videos that were taken. If you post to YouTube (or anywhere on the net), could you share the video? It would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Comment by jjh1029 on June 28, 2010 at 5:53pm: hi to you all...just catchin up on laundry today and getting pictures developed...wow what a great experience we had over the weekend..i will never forget it...i had a blast at meet n greet...got to meet some of you up close and personal..wow now back to reality..like work lol...congrats to all our sailors..i didnt want to Leave her but i know shes ok now..she looked like a lost puppy when we were pulling out from her sunday but shes grown up so much in 8 weeks...we spoiled her even more over the weekend lol..well thanks again for this sight i couldnt of done it with out you all...love ya all HUGS....JANET

We just wish we could have spent more time and been able to meet more of you. Thanks to all the Moms, Girlfriends, Wives, relatives and everyone that kept the support going for N4M's! We were so proud to see all the Sailors and proud families this weekend. God bless everyone!

It was great to see such a proud review and to see our Sailors realize their accomplishments. We were able to spend Friday, Saturday, and today with our Sailor Alex. He kept us entertained with non-stop string of stories from BC. We are so proud of him and his accomplishment of being the RCPO from the beginning of BC to the end and being presented the Military of Excellence award. We were honored to be able to meet Commanding Officer Captain Peterson and Rear Admiral Sharpe after the ceremony. It was great to spend the short time with him this weekend but it was one we will never forget. Good luck to all your sons and daughters as they move on to their new jobs as Sailors of the greatest Navy in the world, God Bless them all! This has been a great ride so far and we look forward to moving on to new adventures as Navy Families!!!!

Have a great weekend ladies. i love you all so much.Sumiko, honey my heart goes out to you. take care of yourself, maybe it won't be long and you can join him.
