Sobe: I would be happy to post the 'Mail Forwarding' info. on the Boot Camp Moms group. I will go officially join now so that can post. I didn't understand your offer re: "answering PIR questions".

Anna: Thank you for the invitation on Thursday night (wow, only hours away, finally!). If our plane is on time & the car rental & traffic goes smoothly, I may be able to get there as you are all winding down.
Your letter writing routine made me laugh (I needed that! :) ), because you spoke Exactly to my own letter writing routine!!! Ha Ha. I see by your tag that our sons are on the same ship/div. I can't wait for Battlestations to be over. I keep watching the 'Battlestations 21' videos & am overwhelmed at the 'real life ordeals' they run the recruits through. As difficult the exercise, I am thankful that they prepare them so well. I pray that this experience is as 'real' an emergency as they'll ever need to endure throughout their Navy careers.

Just jumping in here to say a huge "thank you" to all of your for your love, support, and prayers. I know we will be stronger after all this is over and I am still praying for a miracle for my daughter. She has been through so much and given everything she had and it appears her body just can't handle much more. Although this is the roughest time for me since she left for BC, I feel I can handle anything that comes our way and whatever decision the Navy makes we will just have to deal with it. I know God has a plan for everyone and opportunities come and go. It's so hard to see her dream possibly going in a different direction. I have such mixed feelings - sad, angry, disappointment, frustrated, but at the same time I know I need to be there for her when its all said and done.

On a lighter note, I am very excited for all of you and your recruits. It has been a long 8 weeks for you and your time has come. I wish you safe travels and great memories of this weekend to be treasured for a lifetime.

CostellosMOM: Thank you for that precious song.. My youngest son just played that for me last week.. It is an amazing song that is so appropriate for all of us.. You have lifted my spirit and soul today... : )

P.S. My sons surprise arrived last night. My nephew from Germany landed in Detroit and will be there Friday to attend his graduation. Dustin will be so shocked.. Dustin's always been sad that he was not able to meet my brother before he died.. So having his cousin here representing his Uncle and himself will mean so very much to Dustin... I cant wait..
