My hunny is an honor grad. I'm so proud of him. Still waiting on the "I'm a sailor" call. His mom and I keep calling each other to check if either one of us got the call.

OMG we are coming so close to seeing our sailors! Can anyone tell me more information on the meet and greet?? Where, when etc? Thank you!

mysailor-My husband got an hour long call for his "I'm a sailor" call :))
Comment by Kathy on June 29, 2010 at 10:31am
Proudmom - I've read it over a few times, it is scary, but I'm glad they have the technology to really prepare the recruits. My husband and father-in-law were both in the Navy, after my husband read this article he just shook his head and said, "They sure didn't have that when I was in!" I'm on pins and needles waiting for my call. We're scheduled to fly out tomorrow morning. We are proud moms!!!!

Hey Ladies...for those who have received the "I'm a sailor" call, how long was it?

Can't wait to meet you all. Safe travel!
Comment by proudmom on June 29, 2010 at 10:13am
Kathy~ OH MY!!! That is a little scary just reading it. What a awesome thing to have such a real experience so close to the real thing to get prepared! It's more than hard, but good for them. What proud Moms we are of all these Sailors!!!!!
