We just got back home from GL. My son did graduate, we didn't get our "I'm a sailor" call until we were already in Chicago on Wednesday. They did BS21 Tuesday evening into Wednesday. It was an emotion ceremony, and we got to spend 3 fantastic days with him. It was so hard leaving him. Thank you to all of you, just reading the comments and making comments was such a great support system. Best wishes to all.

Movie Theater: I can't answer for Great Lakes area, but the mall wasn't really that far - and I heard the bus system is pretty good because sailors going to A-School at GL use it all the time to get to the mall. Maybe go online and search theaters in GL.

Everyone: Have a wonderful time hugging your new sailors. It took forever for this day to come, and the weekend will fly by fast, so make the most of it!!
