Hello all; when my call came it was after 3 pm (WY) and my son did say they were up all night and then had the ceremonies (capping) and much going on in the morning. There is no official schedule but they seem to go in div numerical order so a Tuesday night battlestation might not be able to call until Wed afternoon. Think positive thoughts; prayers are with your sailors. :)

Joana - I haven't gotten a call yet either. I got onto the RTC website, it says they would call if they failed anything, so I'm hopeful. My son is very easy going and when we talked the last time, it was kinda, me saying, "will you be able to call again", and him saying, "if not I'll see you on Thursday". I should have told him call me one way or the other because he's more the type, if she doesn't hear from me, all's good! Boys!!!!! I'm overly stressed at this point but we'll be headed for Chicago tomorrow morning. My thoughts are with you.

Don't forget the waterproof mascara. LOL!

Claudia...look for me (and I'll look for you) at PIR. I have a video and a couple of pics from Jay's swear in. And if I'm not mistaken Pete is the guy standing behind Jay. I can show you the video Thurs.

Is it a bad sign when there is no "I'm a sailor" call?
Comment by Twotimesnavymom on June 29, 2010 at 8:58pm
RTC website and bootcamp site will not come up when I am using the home page of my internet provider....but I downloaded Mozilla Firefox, and it lets me go to most of the Navy sites. May want to try that...hope that helps?
