Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Division 286 is brother division to 285. So I would think that 286 schedule would be similar to 285. Can anyone confirm??

Same here. I told Eryn we would go to Sunday Mass with her, but then we have to head back to Chicago to catch the train which leaves a 1345(1:45 pm) Sunday afternoon.

hey ladies, was running errands all day to get ready to leave sunday to Tx. I know i am not suppose to do heavy lifting but it is just me. Reconfirm battlestations 21 is on the 24 to the 25? I guess all my letters are being sent to TX already. I am going to mail 5 tomorrow and 5 saturday so he can have to open each day after. Thanks for that idea.

OK, since it seems that all of our Sailors are G&G, Im rethinking my departure, I can change it within 24 hrs with no fees, I think I may just leave on Sat instead of spending another night in a hotel and then dinners, sightseeing ect..what are you guys doing in light of the G&G situation???
