Welcom Navy Loved ones! This site is so helpful for support and finding information and sharing information. Being a Navy Mom and Wife is such an honor. It isn't always easy to wait to hear from them, or to know that they have been, or will be in harms way, but we couldn't be more proud of our boys. The youngest boy said recently, "it feel pretty awsome to be part of something so big, and respected"... He is still in boot camp... My oldest has served three years and is a wonderful young man, who now believes serving their country is something all young men should do. We are so proud of all of our NAVY sons, husbands, daughters and wifes, boyfriends and girlfriends... Please share, ask questions, and enjoy the support provided by Navy for Moms.

aww Mary...you're the best....

GOOD NEWS!!!  Emory Univ. Hospital has done a reevaluation and revised diagnosis on Brian...Lymphocytic Leukemia and the doctors told Tom that there is an 85% cure rate.  oh Brian has a long road ahead of him.  min. 27 more days in the hospital and will be on a 27 day rotation of chemo.

our sweet AuxLady...she's still crying, she's still worried and wants to be with her son more than anything in this world...but she sure knows the power of prayer!

the family is overwhelmed...it's going to be hard on them in so many many ways. i suggested that Sharon start a blog so we can keep up with Brian's progress, go to the bank and tell them what happened so a fund could be established to help the family AND to log onto N4Ms so she could see what she is missing...all the prayers and well wishes...i read a prayer that was posted to her when we talked on the phone....she was overcome with gratitude.

oh how i pray that our sweet AuxLady gets to hold her son AND her new baby granddaughter who she has not met as soon as possible.

Mary--please i am so sorry....i was supposed to send you a message per Sharon's request...i was up late trying to remember all the details and had to join so many groups that Sharon is in....plus Sissy has been needing around the clock attention.

Simply-i know Sharon will appreciate the prayers. thank you.

Hello Moms, tonight i got a phone call from AuxLady (Sharon) asking me to contact you. Her Sailor son Brian has been stricken with Acute T-Cell Leukemia/Lymphoma and has been medevaced from Kings Bay, GA to Emory University Hospital.  his wife and infant daughter along with his father, two brothers and a sister in law are there in a hotel 9 miles from the hospital.  Sharon can not travel due to her injuries from an accident while she was delivering the mail.

tonight i am asking for you to lift Brian and his family up in prayer. please contact anyone anywhere near Emory Univ. Hosp. that can help this family. i can send you his full name in a private message.

Connie--my,my,my Memphis in May and the Music Fesitival...I love it...went to one up in Canada in Quebec City...it was an International Music Feast...the sounds that came out from that stage were amazing...mostly the non english versions but still great...tunes we all know...foot tapping happiness on a hot summer evening...I have a goal to go to the Newport Jazz Festval in RI one of these day...love music..

Maine Update.. Well hody all you magnificent Moms of PIR09/24/2010...With the weather change from sunny to cold and snow to rain, these last few days are showing some positive signs for all the sap lovers here in Maine. Sap is beginning to run out of the maple trees, into the gallon jugs, getting collected, taken to the sap house and poured into what is called the evaporator .

It's a slow process that once it starts, can't be stopped. The wood oven underneath the evaporator is fires up and the ratio is crazy = 7:1. So 7 gals of sap to make 1 gal of maple syrup is a truely incredible journey for the liquid gold. The Maine Turnpike Authrity has warned drivers to be aware that the deer are moving to the sides of highway in search of new grass and with the melting snow banks, this will continue...well ok...that's it from Maine and remember to tell those sailors to get the taxes done before deployments, if needed...as always...For Always Make It Like Yours= FAMILY... :)
