Welcom Navy Loved ones! This site is so helpful for support and finding information and sharing information. Being a Navy Mom and Wife is such an honor. It isn't always easy to wait to hear from them, or to know that they have been, or will be in harms way, but we couldn't be more proud of our boys. The youngest boy said recently, "it feel pretty awsome to be part of something so big, and respected"... He is still in boot camp... My oldest has served three years and is a wonderful young man, who now believes serving their country is something all young men should do. We are so proud of all of our NAVY sons, husbands, daughters and wifes, boyfriends and girlfriends... Please share, ask questions, and enjoy the support provided by Navy for Moms.

Hi everyone!  I hope this finds you all doing well, and surviving whatever crazy weather your area may be having.  Glad i'm not in Maine right now, my dad sent me pics of all the snow, sure don't miss it.  Gonna be about 80 here today, though i'll be at work, and wont' get to enjoy much of it.

Hubby is now overseas, he left lil over a week ago.  son is still here though, looks like his unit wont' be deploying anytime soon after all.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone.  it's been so long since i got on here, i've missed it.  been extremely busy at work and about to get even busier.  my son came home for christmas, which was really nice.  and he will be graduating A school on the 14th.  so he'll be back home next weekend.  then have to wait on the definate word whether he is deploying for sure.  my husband will be deploying around the middle of february, so gearing up for that too.

We had a really great holiday, it was nice to have all the kids home.  my oldest daughter will head back to college tomorrow.

I had to make an emergency trip home to Maine last weekend.  my mom got really sick the tuesday after christmas and was hospitalized.  they thought it was a stroke, from the signs she showed.  but they are now thinking it was some kind of viral thing.  she was sent to boston the day i was on my way up there.  so got to travel to boston over the weekend, hadn't been there forever.  she is slowly on the mend and they are hoping to get her back to Maine on monday.  which will be good for my dad.  i worry about him traveling down there alone.

so that's about it for me, tax season is about to be in full swing, and then i will never have free time...lol

hope this finds you all doing well.  have a great day :)

Happy New Year All!! Here in Maine the snow is slowly melting but the weatherman is picking this weekend for about 4 inches of that stuff :( I love the first snow but seeing the little green patches of lawn popping up makes me look forward to spring and FISHING AGAIN!!! That is my passion. Son Bill and Girlfriend Julie, are now engaged and enjoying Virginia. Youngest son is on his last two weeks home from college. I think he is ready to get backto dorm life and his buds. He and five friends spent Tuesday in my kitchen making cookies!

The best part of it all, they cleaned up after themselves!!!lol That put a smile in  my husbands face and he tasted the c chip cookies and invited them back to do it again on Spring Break...lol Cookies were fantastic . Now all I got to do is let them practice making complete meal...lol I may have found my "Hazel's" in this bunch of college kids!!
