I bet it's more like a supply person than a cook wouldn't you think?

My daughter Jennifer is doing her A school at Great Lakes too. I don't know her rating but she's supposed to be doing something with what the recruiter called "hotel management" supposedly it means that she will work with the barracks people and the galley people to make sure they have all of the supplies and stuff they need. That would be a pretty cool job, but I'm afraid that it pans out to be a cook. I

We were told Jake would be doing A school in Great Lakes by his recruiter before he left. He is going in as an enginmen (mechanic). I don't know anything about the different divisions though. Jake is in division 196. I haven't received a letter from Jake yet either. The waiting is a killer isn't it?

Candy- that is a mouthful- so do you think that's the same school as what our son choose? It's got 'electrical' in it! Just trying to figure out where[ and when] he will go.
I'm seeing a lot of div 196 on here. Paul's [199] i think I've seen 3 moms on this site. Where are they?
Comment by lori on April 15, 2010 at 10:00pm
Paul signed up for advanced electrical- that's not the same is it? I don't know where he is going to school. Anyone know where that is?

No- couldn't play an instrument if he wanted to- tone deaf! thanks for the info karrisa. Have you figured out about your tickets and hotel yet?
Comment by lori on April 15, 2010 at 7:31pm
karrisa- I love that! How do you find out if they are grad and go?
I haven't received a letter yet either and paul's been gone a week too.
Can anyone tell me what difference the 900 division is? Are they the ones who are grad and go? So the div between those numbers- are they graduating together as a group?
