OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

O Lord , be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.  Isaiah 33:2

Lord, I don’t like the roller coaster of events and emotions that some days bring. Thank you for strengthening me and sustaining me through every turn.

Wait for the Lord ; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.  Psalm 27:14

Lord, I know that all things work together for good for those who love you. Thanks for giving us the patience to wait on you and the peace to know your timing is always best.  Thank you for Joseph Jude and helping and sustaining us.  We Praise you that they are both healthy and doing well. God is Good, ALL the time.  Praise be to Him.

Joseph Jude was born 7/23/19  8# 8oz, 21 1/2 inches long, emergency C-section.  I've been busy. they live in a 3 story condo with no bathroom on main floor, Daddy had to go back to work, so Nana moved in.  came home to do month-ends at work, billing etc....now back down there.  Ex-sailor just called  they are flying in on the 24th and staying 3 weeks....busy, busy.

Thanks for all the prayers.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.  1 Timothy 4:12

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6:10

Father, I’m humbled when I consider all that you do through me. Today, help me to rely on you and stretch beyond my own capabilities.  You, Father provide all my needs and bless me with everything I have. Protect me from the lure of more money. Help me always put You, Family and Neighbor above all else.  Worldly goods mean nothing, It's Heaven I'm striving for. Thank you for Your Son and the Holy Spirit, open our hearts to hear and follow. Amen

“Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father” Colossians 3:17

“The LORD’s kindness never fails! If he had not been merciful, we would have been destroyed. The LORD can always be trusted to show mercy each morning. Deep in my heart I say, ‘The LORD is all I need; I can depend on him!” Lamentations 3:22-24

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure . . .  Philippians 2:14–15

Lord, I offer you my heart, hands, and resources. I want whatever I do to be a sacrificial gift of service, not an opportunity to boost my ego or show off my abilities.  But all Glory and Praise be yours!

By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.  1 Corinthians 6:14

“Be very careful how you live. Do not live like those who are not wise. Live wisely. I mean that you should use every chance you have for doing good, because these are evil times. So do not be foolish with your lives. But learn what the Lord wants you to do”  Ephesians 5:15-17

Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
Colossians 4:6

Jesus, thank you for rising from the dead and bringing abundant life. I want to trust you fully, knowing that what I do is meaningful for your kingdom.   I want to be your light, your hands, your salt in the world. May I add your holy flavor to everything I do and say today.  Holy Spirit live in me and guide me.

Joe's granddad passed away on my daughter's 30th birthday, Joe arrived safely home this morning, reports in tomorrow and leaves early Sunday morning. Not enuff time with Wife and Tahlia.  :(   Today is haircut, uniform inspection.....Uggg!  If Baby M wasn't so close we'd have been out there.  Baby M is making flutters and daughter is dilated 1.5 centimeters.  Was hoping for a baby yesterday but maybe this weekend??!!!

Hope you all had a Fun and Sunny 4th.   Hugs
