Thank you for the update and will continue praying for healing and thanking Him for a Christian surgeon.

If you can let us know the date of the surgery so we can pray as the surgery is taking place .   Jesus is above it all!! A  big hug for you.

Jesusintheboat and Blondie,

We had our appt. with the surgeon yesterday and he explained what the surgery would be like. He would work on T12-S1 with screws and rods. It sounds scary but our trust is in the Lord and he told me that he would 'restore me to health and heal my wounds'. And unless he steps in and heals miraculously I feel that he is leading me through surgery. Regardless of which way I know that he is the one who does the healing! We did find our that our Surgeon is a Christian which was a blessing! The surgery will take around 9 hours( which is also scary), but that's why we are praying so specifically for him- for wisdom, clarity, strength, alertness, a clear mind thinking only of the surgery he is performing. I have a peace about all of this as a result of spending time with Jesus this morning! Praise his name! Thank you for your prayers and may the Lord bless you!

Prayer request for Yvonne:
Please keep Yvonne in your prayers. She has an appointment Wednesday with an orthopedic spine surgeon. She is looking at the possibility of having 4 vertebrae in her lower back fused. Right now she is in considerable pain and has great difficulty walking and keeping her balance. She fell last week and her right leg is totally bruised.

Set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Jesus, I look to you as my perfect role model and holy example. Keep me mindful that others see you by what I do and say.

The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”  Exodus 33:14
