A happy heart makes the face cheerful . . . Proverbs 15:13

God, Thank you for the peace, joy, and hope you provide every day.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 55:8

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
Psalm 62:5

Lord, I’m so glad that you empower me to solve problems. But help me to see the perspective that you have on when, how, and why things happen.  Let me trust your timing Lord. Father, I get so tired some days. My mind whirls with responsibilities and urgent demands. Thank you for giving me your peace that goes beyond understanding. Father, Thank you for being me through the long, dark nights. You are always Faithful. Especially last night, waking from that horrible nightmare...thanks for listening to my prayers and being with me. Thank you Holy Spirit for talking to me and showing me my errors. I have told Satan to get out of my thoughts, mind, heart and house!  Thank you God! Father, Son and Spirit, singing your Praises.

[Jesus said,] “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  2 Peter 3:18

Lord, I know that with you in control I have nothing to fear. Thank you for your assurance no matter what I might face or feel today. Lord, I want to step out in faith and move beyond my comfort zone. I want others to know how much I love you and how your grace has transformed my life.

wow!  has it really been a month?!  It's been Very Busy here. We went to see our daughter and granddaughter, by the time we got there military was on lock down again. So many rules to follow. But we did get a lot done at the house. Re did the complete kitchen, deck/steps, dry walling rooms, painted 3 bathrooms, floor..... Very tiring. LOLT hey ended up coming back with us. Poor Son-in-law still there with long hours and lots of responsibilities but at least he can go home now and sleep in his own bed. 3 of his "team" members have been dx. UGG  Daughter is anxious to go back but I can't take time off work until Aug. 15th she was told this before leaving VA, lets just say it's Crazy here. But wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

Lord, you came for all people. Help me to be your hands and feet and minister to the people around me who may be struggling and hurting. Jesus, you gave your life for me. I want to give my life for you. Sow me the way, Your Way Lord. Amen

Love must be sincere. Romans 12:9

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”  Revelation 3:20

I want to be sincere and authentic in my faith, Lord. Forgive me for the times I’ve glossed over issues I needed to address. Lord, help me to keep the door of my heart open to you at all times. I want to know you better. I want to show You to others.

If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love . . . make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Philippians 2:1–2

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.  Psalm 143:10

Lord, I want to connect with other people and serve them with your love. Help me to unite with others who love you or want to know you. Keep me on your level path, giving me confidence that you have already gone before me to prepare the way.  Amen

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:12

But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
1 Timothy 6:6–8

Dear God, my soul thirsts for you. Please forgive me my sins and allow me to experience your divine forgiveness anew. Father, I know all good gifts come from you. I’m overwhelmed by the many ways you bless me. Help me to notice my blessings and take nothing for granted. Starting with Christ your Son. Amen

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6–7

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  Colossians 3:17

Dear Lord, I commit myself to you today and ask for your ongoing protection and guidance as my roots grow deeper in the soil of your love. God, Help me, I want to reflect you and your grace and goodness in all that I think, say, and do. Through your son, our Lord, Amen
