Regarding Fran and Stephen...I got this email from Frieda a couple of days ago...

From Dolores to Frieda, Millye and Pat Leazenby
Sent Dec 1

Hello all Navy Moms -
Just got back from visiting Fran and Stephen at Northwestern. Fran and I had lunch and talked, cried and talked out her concerns. She said that she is better knowing that her family will be coming to Chicago so she would not be so alone. We exchanged phone numbers and I will be taking her to get some groceries for the apartment so when her 2 children come to Chicago there will be food for them to eat. She is also craving cheese cake so I will be taking her some this week.
I have a new, small christmas tree that I will be giving to her this week so she can put it up in the apartment as well. She is concerned that the 2 smaller ones will not understand that this Christmas is going to be hard and only one gift each child - so - I was thinking that maybe if we can send gifts for her children to ease her mind and make this Christmas a good one even under the circumstances in which she is in. Her boyfriend lost his job last week so they are going to be here in Chicago on a very tight budget. If you would like to send maybe toys or a donation to help them out I think that would help out this family.
Stephen was being administered his 3rd plasma transfer when I got to the hospital and was sleeping. After Fran and I had lunch we came back to the room and Stephen woke up and we said hellos. The one thing that amazed me was Stephen was actually beginning to move his back, neck and hands - as if he wanted to get comfortable. Fran said that this was the first time he actually did this and so I was truly excited for her.
I gave her all your messages of prayer and she also said that anyone who would like to visit can do so even with her family in town.
Just wanted to give you an update of Stephen and Fran .... she is very optomistic and all I could tell her was that Stephen is going to get well because he is in God's hands.

Keep praying God is answering our prayers in His time. Sounds like we also need tobe praying for finances.

Lord God....I ask that you heal Mary of the sickness, toothache and her burns. I ask that you also heal her emotionaly too.Lord your word says that by YOUR STRIPES WE ARE HEALED I claim that for Mary physically and emotionally I come against the enemy and say flee in the Name of JESUS.Leave Mary you have NO place in her life. Lord I also pray for finances to pay for the things that need to be fixed. Give her your peace that surpasses all human understanding so that she will not feel overwhelmed by the things of this world. Put things in order in her life so that she may have that peace. Show her where she needs to slowdown or say no to things that aren't importanat. Encourage her mom's heart as she has released her sailor to the service of this country and to you. Holy Spirit help and aide her in trusting the Lord , increase her faith in you Lord, give her signs and wonders that only she will receive and understand....Your personal love note to her. I ask this all in the POWERFUL NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS!

What a wonder to have only minutes in the Memphis area airport as a connector, and to know who I was going to pray for coming and going! You must have been praying too as we had only minutes to get from one end of the airport to the other to make our connections.
And thanks to the many sailors who joined us at Goose Creek for Thanksgiving dinner.

I recied this from Frieda and here is an update on Frand and Stephen:

I want to thank all of you for your prayers. We were able to find Fran, the brain of of her cell phone finally went out and she has been unable to call or receive any messages. She says she is exhausted and Thanksgiving Day was very hard. She welcomes all prayers and any visitors for herself and Stephen. Stephen is still on the vent, has a feeding tube, and cannot move anything but can nod yes and no when he is not sedated. There is a organization called "Salute" who wil fly her husband and two samll children to Chicago to see Stephen this coming Monday or Tuesday. She gave permission to give it out this info. Needless to say they still need our prayers.

I, too, Lord are a humble servant Lord and you have given us through your death and resurrection permission to come bodly before you and I am now Lord, God I lift Stephen up to you and place him at your feet in your throne room..Lord I ask that you remove the virus that is ravaging his body by your precious, healing and powerful blood and name. I plead that healing blood over his entire body inside and out, to every fiber of his being Lord. I come against any schemes of the enemy and I rebuke them in name of Jesus and say to you flee now and leave this young man alone!! He is weary and scared, holy spirit comfort him and his precious mother Fran...she too is weary Lord. Bring the the right people to help Fran and Stephen Send those ministring angels to surround them both and the the family at home. I ask you for extra ordinary wisdom to the Doctors, specialists and nurses that are caring for Stephen...Let his healing be a great testimony to all of them Lord....Lord I ask that you bring income to where it is lost. Lord thank you in advance for what you are going to do in this young man's life...it will bet agreat testimony!! Thank you Lord! Bless you Lord!! Praise your holy, healing and powerful name!! AMEN!!

SAILOR RESCUE LIST is a great group to join if you have not already. It may open some doors for even more great military people to be blessed at your home.
God Bless you for being open to these situations!
