I have a prayer request for you all. As the young men and women get transferred in and out of this area attendance at our activities fluctuates greatly. Sometimes we have as many as 17 servicemen and women in the house at one time. At other times we have as few as one or two. And, if they have duty, sometimes there are none.

I know there are thousands of young men and women in this area who are lonely, homesick, bored, etc. My request is that you pray that those young people who would like to participate in our family activities would be able to hear about us, contact us (email), and become part of our extended family while they're here. And, I don't mean just for the holidays, but regularly.

Oh Susie--truth is winning. I can't answer as to the legalities, but it will be in my prayers.

I am so thankful that the Word says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)! In John 14:27 Jesus said: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Please pray for Fran and Stephen her son has the same virus GBS as Kristina's son Andrew. Lord you are the Great Physician and I ask that you would completely and totaly heal these two young men of this virus that is ravaging their bodies. I plead you healing blood to pour over both of these young men from the top of their head's to the soul for their feet. Lord I also pray for their families especially their moms send ministering angels to comfort them and give them wisdom. I also pray for their finances that you would provide what ever needs they may have at this time. Thank you Lord for the good report we are hearing abput Andrew. we look forward to hearing more good reports for both of these young men. Bless them as they have chose to serve their country and whether they know it ultimately you, Lord. Let this be a another great testimony as to who you are just as it has been with Frieda and Levi's experience with this same virus. We conitune to thank you and bless you for that healing. I ask this in Jesus' mighty, healing and powerful name!! Amen

Oh Marilyn--what a visual you gave me--to superglue our things at His feet so we don't go and pick them up again! I shall borrow that phrase.

Oh Dearest God-
What wonderful women we have here, lifting up your name every minute of the day. I feel so blessed to have these who love you in my life.
Our God is an awesome God--Amen.

Boy, do I agree with that! Jesus is the source of everything we need! In Hebrews 3:1 and 12:2 we're told to keep our thoughts and our eyes focused on Jesus. He is our ever present help in time of trouble.

Dearest God
Thank you for the many wonderful memories of all the veterans in my life. Starting with my Grandfather and his service in France in WWI; Uncle in Phillipines in WWII; brother for 4 years in Viet Nam stateside; Dad in WWII and Korean War. To my many friends of the 1960's and to date.
We are blessed with many who answer the call to serve. Thank you, too, Lord, for the pride of our sailor son and all those on this site.
To God be the Glory!
Amen
