OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Sending you Prayers your way:

O God, our heavenly Father, whose glory fills the whole creation, and whose presence we find wherever we go: preserve those who travel; surround them with your loving care; protect them from every danger; and bring them in safety to their journey's end; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  2 Peter 3:18

Lord, I want to step out in faith and move beyond my comfort zone. I want others to know/see how much I love you and how your grace is transforming my life.

For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.
Psalm 36:9

Lord, thank you for the many ways you refresh and revive us. Give us your Living Water so our longings may be satisfied and our hearts may grow closer to you.

A happy heart makes the face cheerful . . . Proverbs 15:13

God, I sometimes lose sight of what truly makes me happy and satisfied—my relationship with you. Thank you for the peace, joy, and hope you provide today. Father, Thank you for my family and these special times that we can share and Praise you. through Christ Your Son, Amen

We love because he first loved us.  1 John 4:19

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.  1 Peter 4:8

Lord, help me to love others the way you love me. Allow me to demonstrate your patience, compassion, and mercy to everyone I see today. When I’m tempted to judge others for what they do and condemn them in my heart, help me to show them the mercy and love that you show to me.

Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders.  Psalm 119:27

Lord, sometimes I try to solve problems without considering what you want me to do. Give me the patience to wait on your timing for the current struggles in my life.

[Jesus said,] “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”  Luke 11:28

For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.  Romans 2:13

Dear God, I’m so grateful for your Word and all that you reveal in it. I want to be a doer of your truth and not just a hearer. Help me to obey you in all that I do. Lord, despite my best efforts, I can never live a perfect life. I sin and need your grace each day. Thank you for your gift on the cross that fulfills the law and sets me free.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.  Psalm 143:10

. . . the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.
Romans 8:6

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1

Dear God, keep me on your level path, giving me confidence that you have already gone before me to prepare the way. Holy Spirit, you are the only One whom I want controlling my mind. Remind me of your truth and dispel the fears and worries that try to dominate my thinking. Father, I marvel at the wonders of your creation. Thank you for the countless beautiful ways you demonstrate your creativity and power around me every day. May I never get "tired" or "use to" Your miralces. Amen
