Prayer Request for Yvonne
Yvonne got her surgery date this afternoon. It is scheduled for January 18th. The doctor said it would be an 8 hour surgery. She'll probably be in the hospital for several days afterward. Between now and then we'll be going to several pre-op appointments with various doctors.

Father I ask that you keep this Pastor and his Flock in  Your Loving Care. I ask that you wrap this community and their loved ones in Your Arms, give them Comfort that the world cannot give. Show them how to care for each other through Christ and turn to You in their time of need.  Use this experience to draw them closer to You Lord. Through Christ Your Son , Amen

I have a prayer request.  My brother is a pastor in central Oregon.  A couple in his congregation, close friends of his, have been quarantining due to Covid and tonight while my brother was checking in on them over the phone the wife started screaming.  My brother rushed over to their house not knowing what had happened and found her trying to resuscitate her husband.  Despite the EMT’s and their best efforts he was pronounced dead at the hospital.  My brother is shocked and heart broken.  They offered to care for the widow at their house or hers, since she is still quite ill herself on top of everything she’s just been through, but she insisted on being alone.  She has no children or family and her in-laws are elderly and unable to provide much physical support.
Please pray for the widow.  What a terrible loss at a vulnerable time.  They’re in their mid 40s.  Pray for my brother also… that God will comfort his heart and guide him in how to effectively minister and provide comfort and support to the widow and family involved.  And please pray for his congregation, as well.  The couple was very involved in the children’s ministry.  Jason will be missed by all, but especially the kiddos who he loved on every week.

 Thank you, Ladies!
