Mike803, yes, there are several tennis courts, movie theatres, and bowling alleys in the area. He can check with MWR for specifics or check with others who have been there a few weeks.
My son will be attending MA school there after his boot camp graduation on May 24th. I was curious if there are any amenities he could avail himself of while he is at Lackland AFB and if he would be allowed. He is an avid tennis fan and player. Are there any tennis courts on the base that he might be able to use? How about bowling alleys or movie theaters? Thanks for any information.
Hi All- my PIR is 5/10- in two weeks she'll hopefully be here at SA waiting to class up!
I will be going to PIR May 3,2013. Then it is off to SA for MA school. I have heard so many great things about the area. I can not wait for MA graduation.
Thank you Ladies!
Liz'smom, I know that they have refrigerators. When my Sailor was there, I sent cookies once that got smashed and they used a blender and made cookie shakes with ice cream and milk. He also requested ramen and cup-o-soup to have when he was unable to eat at the galley, so they must have had a microwave somewhere.
My son will be graduating MA school this Friday, April 19. Will anyone else have a son/daughter graduating this Friday also and be going to graduation? I am trying to find someone to take a picture of my son as I will not be able to attend graduation. :-(
