While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

It's hard not knowing! That is the purpose for this group. Most likely if you are here your SR has had trouble keeping up or not passed a PFA due to some sort of minor medical issue. Often it stress fractures bringing SR's here. Know this when you don’t get a call that is a very good thing. Calling them is not a good thing and it can negatively impact your SR to have his or her “Mommy“ calling! They are harder on them in this DIV than any other. They want them up and out. The best thing you can do is sends tons of mail. Send scripture and motivational mail. I know my SR said reading the Bible was considered a sign of weakness here. When you get a tearful call motivate. Stay positive and encourage you SR. This is a small detour to greatness and getting the I'm a Sailor call! Recruit family and friends…“Navy mom friends are the best“…to send your SR mail as well. NMH for you all!!

My daughter left June 30, 21 ended up being sent to the ER before going to RTC to have her gall bladder removed. She left the hospital on July 5th and is now in RCU. I have not heard from her to see…Continue

Just missed the call from my SR but he got to jump in on Battle stations yesterday and is already in THU. I have a sailor. Hope everyone is getting the call.

Patrick's Mom... THANK YOU SO MUCH for passing the information from my SR through the phone call with you son. We haven't received any calls the last couple of weeks from him, but we have received letters (thankfully.)
I can't tell you how truly excited I am to hear that several of your SR's are doing Battlestations tonight. It gives the rest of us waiting inspiration in knowing that we will be there celebrating this milestone someday soon as well. I pray that they all do well and you all get that call tomorrow!! Wishing everyone the best of luck in getting sleep tonight... Hugs!!!

I got a very brief call from my son this afternoon. He sounded very excited, and very confident about heading into Battlestations tonight. He said between the girls & guys in the RCU there are about 40 of them! That means lots of healing has been going on, which is wonderful!!! For those of you with SR's still healing prayers are being lifted for you. For those of us whose kids will spend a grueling, yet hopefully exciting night together, prayers are going up big time! Don't know how much sleeping will go on at my house tonight...I can't wait to get that call tomorrow afternoon at long last!!! My son has been at RTC since 11/21, and in RCU since 1/18. He's so ready for the next phase in his Navy adventure! And I'm so ready to hug and kiss him!!!
