It's hard not knowing! That is the purpose for this group. Most likely if you are here your SR has had trouble keeping up or not passed a PFA due to some sort of minor medical issue. Often it stress fractures bringing SR's here. Know this when you don’t get a call that is a very good thing. Calling them is not a good thing and it can negatively impact your SR to have his or her “Mommy“ calling! They are harder on them in this DIV than any other. They want them up and out. The best thing you can do is sends tons of mail. Send scripture and motivational mail. I know my SR said reading the Bible was considered a sign of weakness here. When you get a tearful call motivate. Stay positive and encourage you SR. This is a small detour to greatness and getting the I'm a Sailor call! Recruit family and friends…“Navy mom friends are the best“…to send your SR mail as well. NMH for you all!!

Thanks you so much ladies for sharing in our joy as our SR's near this long haul they've endured.
tsghart - So sorry to hear your son's injury is severe enough for separation. Praying for healing and comfort for him (and you!), and all the best as in the next few months as he heals, he will make the decision whether to re-enlist. May the Lord lead and guide him!
tsghart..... Ok baby.... major prayers heading towards your SR and you.. Im sooo happy that he has the desire to re-enlist.. AWESOME HOOYAH... so now when i think of him one word comes to mind PERSEVERANCE!!!! hugs
Congrats to all of you and your SR's on the great news and happy endings in sight. It's a horrible spot to be in but I think it truly makes them better people and want the Navy even more.
Tsqhart: I am so sorry, I pray that your son heals quickly and perfectly and if he wishes to reenlist I wish him all the best.
Navy2011mom.... THE LIGHT IS GETTING BIGGER at the end of the tunnel HOOYAH.... hugs to you to girlie
SUCH WONDERFUL NEWS ALL AROUND!!! It really is getting close for you now. Can't wait to hear more about them all being FFD real soon and then finishing all they have remaining. You'll actually be with them in such a short time. Barby is into the single digit countdown, and Peejay and Patrick's Mom are certainly close to the end too. I can't tell you how much this lifts my spirits!! I still have several weeks left to wait for my SR, but this makes me feel that there is indeed a light at the end of the RCU tunnel. Hugs to all of you...
OMG MORE GOOD NEWS FROM RCU...I agree w/ Peejay... I think RCU made my recruit an even BETTER person.. turned into a MAN.. because i sure sent a lazy ass HAHAHAHAHHAH... OMG I AM HOPING that your sr's float into div 075 where my sr is and 2 others from RCU... hoping for IM A SAILOR call in LESS THAN A WEEK.... OMG I AM SO EXCITED FOR ALL OF YOU I CANT SIT STILL
Peejay - YAY!!! I've received the same news from Patrick, so praying both our boys will be declared FFD and successfully complete Battlestations beginning Monday night. Can you stand it? We're THIS CLOSE, and yet, I feel I have to be guarded until we know for sure the doctor has approved them.
Thanks Sharon! I am very blessed, and am so thankful my husband does indeed "get it!".
Continuing to pray for all - SR's and Moms included!
Peejay, hooray for such wonderful news from your SR
Patrick's Mom - sounds like you've got a great husband who understands how important it is for you to see your SR when this is all over.
Prayers for all our SRs and moms.
Finally, a call. My SR says they have been on lock down again for failing inspection - apparently his rack passed so he got a 45 min call. Nothing but good news. He did the gas chamber on Monday and will finish fire fighting tomorrow (with Patrick's Mom SR - apparently they are going through this last part together). Then on Friday they have a medical PFA and the Test 3. On the 27th, they are scheduled to have the regular PFA and then Battle Stations. He told me about 7 or 8 from the RCU are schedule for the 27th along with many from FIT. He hopes to be in THU by Tuesday evening. He is not clear on what liberty he will have while in THU awaiting orders but I think we will go ahead and rebook a flight to be there on Thursday evening and Friday. He is feeling very confident and says that boot camp including RCU have made him a better person - he is sounding so good and happy. Makes me smile.
