@Pink - well at least we got to wave!! :)
I also got to sit in front of ZachsinNavymom at the graduation. Figured it out when they called the state of NC and we both cheered! LOL! What a nice family and a cutie-patootie little girl in her navy dress, dancing away to the music!
I was so tempted once to stand in the lobby of the Navy Lodge and do a shout out for N4M just to see who was there! Well, thanks again and congratulations to all of our fine young sailors!
Hello! I've been out of the loop for a while but wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate all the camraderie and fellowship we get on this site. It truly helped me through the darkest of times (Thanksgiving and Christmas!) - you have no idea (well, I guess you do!).
So sorry I didn't make it to the meet n greet. We also stayed at the Navy Lodge and I bet I saw some of you and didn't know it!
What a wonderful weekend! I'm so exhausted, but still on cloud 9!!!
@debbiel
The person that checked out in front of me was petite and blond. If it was you I'm sorry that I didn't get to at least say hi. I'm glad that your family made it back safe and sound. I think that we'll all be tired for the next few days. I feel like I was on fast forward for the past 5 days so I'll be ready to relax by this weekend. Congrats to your sailor and best wishes for your family.
@barb
I hope yall are home safe and sound by now. You have two great sons and it was very obvious that yall are very close as a family. I hope that you and Ian don't have a tough time readjusting to the daily routine without Marty. I'm hoping that he gets stationed down near you guys soon so that you can at least see him more often. I don't know if I've ever seen two brothers so close to each other and that was nice to see. You've raised two very nice sons, even though one jumped into a taxi alone and scared you to death without meaning to.:) Have a good week getting back to the grindstone. I know I'm looking forward to it. :(
Take care.
