Hey Lydia!  Thanks for the info about San Diego.  It's amazing that knowing little pieces of information helps allieve some of the anxiety about upcoming changes.  LOL  Where in Japan will Luke be going?  Cody also took all of his leave and borrowed time when he came home for Christmas, but he has earned a little more leave and plans to take it when he graduates from A-School in April.  Thus, I think I can justify an excuse to go visit him in San Diego this summer.  :)

Lydia:  Oh!  I assumed you had already visited!  :)  Glad you have something to look forward to. . .April 1st will be a great time to visit with spring in the air!  :)  Cody will go to San Diego in mid-May and should finish with his training around August 1st.  I guess he won't be allowed to take leave between San Diego and Okinawa, and he will be in Okinawa for 2-3 years.  So I will more than likely fly to San Diego to visit him before he takes off for Okinawa. . .can't stand the thought of not seeing him before he leaves the U.S.

Lydia, San Diego is beautiful. We stayed on Coronado Island several years ago.  I was surprised that the year round temp there is 60-70 degrees. Very nice, but very expensive.

ARIEL!!!!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!  Wow, what a wonderful surprise!  I bet Dallas will whiz through the rest of his A-School now that he knows he has a lovely wife waiting for him.  :)  What happens after April 1st?  Power school?

Congratulations, Ariel!  Is Dallas graduating from A school on April 1, or power school?  My son's graduating from A-school on April 1.  He's coming home that next week, but then his brother and I are going to Charleston for Easter weekend.  Tell me all the "must see" places we need to find!

Lydia, I think it's very important how they do at bootcamp & their Schools. It speaks to their work ethic & dedication. It's just nice to see all of our boys giving it their best effort. Thank you Navy!!
