Oh Dee I'm so sorry, but happy he is safe. My son just called me and told me that if he don't get an apartment rented before next week( when he is dur to come home) he won't beable to come home because there is no room on base and if he doesn't get one rented he willl have to stay on the sub.....yuck..
so "please everyone pray he gets a place to live" I sure don't want him to lose out on the $700.00 that he paid for his flight from Hawaii....I asked him if he could transfer it to me and I'm fly to see him..but he didn't think he could with the price he got....

I got to see my son for two days...The biggest surprise was when he walked in wearing his sub cap...gave me a hug and turned to talk to his grandfather, uncle, and aunt...I saw the back of his cap...He made PO2...Yes he is and MM2 now...scored in the 95th percentile on the advancement test. He has been a PO2 for a month or so and hadn't told anyone in the family...That was Christmas enough for me!

I was so hoping that all those cougars out there would take the younger ones and leave the mature ones for me..........I always dated younger guys. now I'm not getting older. but my taste is getting more mature, and I'm not so focused on career. So what is evr1 up to this weekend
