Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

judy if your son has a fb page check it now. My son does and he also went diving/snokeling and this is what he wrote on his so they may have went together as a group: "Just saw one of the most beautiful sights in my life. I went snorkeling and free diving for like 4 hours here in Guam. I saw way to many new things to describe, but some of the most memorable: Purple Star Fish, what I would call a Zebra Fish, sea urchins, all kinds of sea cucumbers, schools of fish that were as big ...as my forearm and hand, and all kinds of different corral."

I Too heard from my son he was very talkative (very unusual) I was getting a little concern, He wrote on fb on Wed going to get diver cert and then nothing. He called at 2am my time, said he was having a good time just got out of the water and then went to a place that had wifi access - could not get the computer working to download any pictures, oh well, He did said it is very beautiful there but hot, was excited about continuing the trip.
