USS Bataan LHD-5

Group for family members of Sailors who are on the USS Bataan (LHD-5)

Members: 144
Latest Activity: Aug 25, 2019

I decided to start this group to see who else may have a Sailor on this ship; or heading to this ship.

Granted, we may be a bit limited to what we can discuss openly online, but if nothing else, may be a good way to connect and network off-line as well.

Make sure to not disclose advance ship movements or other OPSEC issues.

My son is an FC2 on this ship.

a.mitchell - I love your boxes! Unfortunately for me my husband has no sense of what is cool or not and would probably think I had gone crazy by decorating the inside of a box. Lol. Besides I only digital scrapbook and I'm pretty sure that doesn't count as being creative.

Barbara, I never did finish the baby book, but it all is on a baby calendar... Now that I have a Cricut machine I maybe will do the baby book, 28 years later... :-)

Ok thanks, I was planning on going. I didn't know if I needed a pass or anything.

A. Mitchell.... Love the box!! I have the stickers and I am making a Navy scrapbook, caught heck when our Sailor found out about it... They make a wonderful Navy Scrapbook, that one can get at Hobby Lobby & Michael's also... Like your shoes too... LOL.!! :-)

Our Sailor never asks for any thing, and doesn't like sweets, I think they switched children on us at the hospital...
