ceecee,

it is nice when you find someone that has a sailor in your sailors area.  i became friends with maryellen thru here when my daughter left her wallet behind on one of the "short cruises" then met her face to face when she came to do the pillowcase project.  that's also when i met colleen.  and guess what, all 3 of our daughters are in the same division and even the same berthing.

on the dep "page" i met a woman who's son is in the same ahip/division as my other daughter.  AND, my daughter is in the same division as her sister was when she was in boot camp and is graduating the same date (4 years later) as her sister.

to top it all off, my oldest daughter (the one in boot camp now) has the same bday as me.

sometimes you just gotta sit and wonder about the coincedences that arise in your life (by the way, maryellen and i are twin sisters from another mother, lol)

Comment by CeeCee on July 7, 2011 at 12:37pm

I wondered if that was anyone on here's son....guess we found out!!! There was a couple of them weren't there, Ken?

Yea, brbr....I keep looking for mine too but they don't have too many night shots....they need to get more of those...then maybe I'll see him LOL

Cindy, I think I speak for everyone....that's what we're here for.....help and support....Lord knows they helped me shortly after deployment!!! Right Ladies??? LOL I've been trying to find someone's sailor that is in the same area as my son but haven't had any luck so far.......I did find someone here that's in MY AREA LOL *wink @ brbr*

That's pretty cool Beth & Cindy that your sailors will probably be going together.....they will already know someone on board when they get there!!!

Cindy, Alos make sure he takes Baby wipes and powder with corn starch in it. The heat is so bad that they are getting heat rash because they are sweating so much.
