cory's mom- wow that is so hard not to be able to give him a big hug. thank god that they broke up before he spent all that money on her. I'm sure he won't feel like it's the best thing, but us mommas know that their are plenty of fish in the sea for our sailors.

renee, I don't think he has set up an email account. guess cuz he can just talk to me on facebook.

I have been following the pictures on facebook of the uss germantown and check to  see if there are any new pics everyday.

it is 85 degrees outside and I really wish we could get some of that cool weather they are having on the east coast. my youngest boy has strep throat and is laying on the couch unable to talk, I feel bad for him but it's kinda nice to have some silence in the house. the middle boy went to church with his friend from school, i just received a text from him asking me if it will ever end, his friend is mormon, guess church goes longer than an hour. hee hee

Cory has been very quiet online as well last few days. Unfortunitely he is also mending a broken heart. His girlfriend couldn't handle the distance and how long he'll be over there....and ended the relationship. He's heart broken. Very hard to know your sailor is hurting and he's so far away! He was preparing to buy her tickets to fly her to Japan for a week at Christmas time. :-(

I have not heard from my sailor in the last few days. They must be very busy.

That is such a good idea, letting extended family know that I would be happy to send items before a certain date.  I keep piling-up items for my November box. Bought the requested hot sauce today.  Visited his college last weekend & was lucky enough to run into friends of his and took pictures of them. They will go in the box.
